OFF-ROAD FEATURES

Jimny’s rigid body design provides excellent ground clearance for the extra fun parts of your journey. Hill Hold Control and Hill Descent Control keep Jimny grounded when navigating steep slopes, while Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control improve stability in slippery situations.

Part-time 4WD system

ALLGRIP PRO provides extra capability when you need it. The part time 4WD system allows you to switch between 2WD and 4WD to suit the driving conditions. In 4WD mode, power is distributed to all four wheels evenly.

Hill Hold Control

Keep moving onwards and upwards with Hill Hold Control. It prevents the vehicle from rolling backwards on steep and bumpy slopes, so you can concentrate on your ascent.

Hill Descent Control

Manoeuvre tricky descents confidently. Hill Descent Control automatically applies the brakes to maintain a fixed speed so that you can focus on steering.

Extra ground clearance

Just like a mountain goat, Jimny can navigate steep slopes, sharp descents and large obstacles without a scrape, thanks to its generous body angles and high ground clearance.

Suspension and Chassis

Jimny’s rigid front and rear axles ensure superior grip on diverse surfaces, working with the excellent suspension to maintain contact in rough conditions.

Touchscreen display*

At the heart of Jimny’s cockpit is a 7 inch touchscreen* display which integrates multimedia features including audio, Bluetooth®, reversing camera, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Jimny XL has an upgraded 9″ screen.

Voice command enables you to search for points of interest, listen to your favourite music or call your contacts without ever taking your hands off the wheel.

Suzuki Safety Support System

Enjoy your Jimny adventures with Suzuki’s safety support features. Featuring six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, and a suite of advanced preventative safety technologies including Autonomous Emergency Braking#, Lane Departure Warning±, Weaving Alert±, and Traction Control – Jimny’s got your back.

Weaving Alert±

Over 60km/h, Jimny observes driving patterns and warns you if it detects the vehicle weaving.

Lane Departure Warning±

Jimny helps you stay on track by detecting the road markings and warning you if you approach the edge of the lane.

Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)#

Jimny has excellent awareness of its surroundings. Using a camera and laser sensor, it senses  obstacles like pedestrians or vehicles and brakes for you in an emergency.

High Beam Assist

Mood lighting from the future – the Jimny headlights will automatically switch between high and low beams depending on the environment, for a safer and more relaxed drive.

Brake LSD Control

Cover slippery ground with confidence. If two diagonal wheels lose grip while you’re travelling over slippery surfaces, this feature will automatically brake slipping wheels and redistribute torque to the other two wheels, allowing the Jimny to make its escape.

Electronic Stability Control

Jimny helps you stay on track with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) by distributing engine torque and applying brakes to individual wheels.

Rugged styling

Jimny is designed for wild adventures. Slanted bumper edges give the wheels more room to navigate obstacles while protecting the body, and the optimised bonnet design keeps front corners in view.

Iconic round LED headlights¤

Take pride in the Jimny’s heritage, symbolised by its iconic round headlamps. Washers allow confident driving in mud, dirt, and snow. The Jimny Lite features halogen headlights, and both models come with dusk sensors.

Rigid ladder frame

The Jimny features a ladder frame that offers a solid foundation for serious off-road performance, with full-width rigid axles in both the front and rear, which help the Jimny ensure superior grip on diverse surfaces. When an obstacle pushes one wheel up, the axle presses the other wheel down to increase tyre contact in rough road conditions.

Practical drip rail

Let the Jimny take you on your all-weather adventures. The drip rail keeps your head dry when entering and exiting by preventing water from dripping off the roof.

Auto or manual

With the choice between 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission‡, Jimny lets you journey the way you want.
